Heartland Women’s Leadership Council of Kansas City, Missouri, recently elected Husch Blackwell's McClain E. Bryant to join the organization’s Board of Directors. Bryant will serve a four-year term.
Formed in 2009 by local women leaders, the Heartland Women’s Leadership Council encourages women to pursue civic leadership roles and grow personally and professionally. The Council empowers, coaches and serves as a catalyst for women of diverse backgrounds to engage in leadership and service opportunities that positively impact the Greater Kansas City region.
An Associate in the firm's Kansas City, Mo., office, Bryant practices in the areas of Government Compliance, Investigations & Litigation and Governmental Ethics & Election Law. Missouri Lawyers Weekly recently named Bryant a 2011 "Up & Coming" Attorney, and KC Business Magazine named her a Class of 2012 Rising Star. Additionally, Bryant sits on the Kansas City Parks and Recreation Board of Commissioners, is a Board Member of Urban Summit Young Professionals, is a Women’s Foundation of Greater Kansas City Associate VIP and a member of the Lyric Opera Circle.
