Tiffany Hetland Joins Kansas City Office
Husch Blackwell welcomes Tiffany A. Hetland to the firm's Kansas City, Mo., office as an Associate in the Healthcare group.
During law school, Hetland was a faculty fellow at Saint Louis University School of Law, where she assisted with research for scholarly articles and presentations on healthcare topics, including the HITECH Act and HIPAA. In addition, Hetland served as a Legal Extern for a large St.Louis-based healthcare system and a Fortune 100 pharmacy benefit company, where she made regulatory compliance determinations and interpreted new healthcare related rules and statutes. Prior to her externships, Hetland served as a legal intern for the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services Office of the General Counsel, where she assisted attorneys in representing the Secretary of Health & Human Services and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
Hetland received her J.D., with honors, from Saint Louis University School of Law (2011), where she was inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu honor society and received Academic Excellence Awards for Healthcare Finance & Business Planning and Criminal Procedure II. In addition, she served as Staff Editor (2009-2010) and Notes & Comment Editor (2010-2011) for the Saint Louis University Journal of Health Law & Policy. Hetland received her B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis (2008).
