Hayley's full practice focuses on the representation of higher education institutions. She advises educational institutions in a diverse range of governance, accreditation, privacy, campus crime, state licensure, distance education, faculty, student and general employment matters. Hayley frequently provides legal updates and training for higher education institutions. She has extensive experience counseling and representing clients in a broad range of compliance with regional and national accreditation commissions. Hayley has an emphasis in litigation matters on issues arising under Title IX, Title IV, Titles VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act. She also assists clients with various risk management and compliance issues by reviewing and revising handbooks and internal procedures.
Hayley has assisted clients in obtaining approvals for changes in control/ownership, name changes and new campus locations.
Hayley joined Husch Blackwell as an Associate in 2000 and was named Partner in 2006.
