Harry B. Wilson

Of Counsel

Harry, whose practice focuses on business litigation, labor and employment, and health law, is a litigator with extensive trial experience, particularly jury cases. He has appeared in and tried cases throughout the Midwest and also supervised a major piece of litigation filed in the British courts that resulted in a favorable settlement to his client.

Harry has handled a variety of business cases involving environmental, construction, insurance and banking law. Many of the banking cases, handled for Farm Credit System institutions, raised lender liability issues, as well as novel issues arising under federal “borrowers' rights” legislation that impacted farm lending practices. These cases were successfully tried in front of rural judges and juries, with a favorable result in all, despite the difficulty of representing a bank in litigation against farmers.

Harry also has handled complex tax cases against the United States Government.

He was a reporter for the St. Louis Globe-Democrat from 1971 to 1974 after managing a 1970 congressional campaign in Boston. He is a decorated combat veteran of the Vietnam conflict, having served as a First Lieutenant, Infantry, in the U.S. Army.

Harry taught as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Saint Louis University School of Law from 1982 to 1987. He has served on the boards of directors of various community and charitable foundations.
