With more than 30 years of experience in intellectual property law, Jerry counsels companies and individuals about developing and protecting their intellectual property assets. His practice focuses on patents, trademarks and copyright matters. He regularly counsels clients on intellectual property litigation matters and has worked on investigations before the International Trade Commission (ITC).
Jerry has particular knowledge and experience in several areas: organic and inorganic chemistry, particularly catalytic systems and semiconductors, food chemistry and a wide variety of other technologies in the mechanical and chemical arts.
A former patent attorney with Quaker Oats, Jerry continues to work with a number of food companies. In addition, he addresses the intellectual property needs of medical associations, hospitals, medical research institutions and medical device companies, electronics and software companies, and manufacturers.
Jerry’s practice is international in scope, with substantial experience in Europe, Asia and Australia, in addition to North America.
