Gary concentrates his practice in real estate law, including acquisition, zoning and condemnation issues, corporate law and related litigation. He is a frequent speaker on a variety of real estate development issues, such as the use of tax increment financing, transportation development districts and urban redevelopment corporations.

Distinguishing himself in zoning work and public/private partnerships, Gary was cited by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business as “a results-oriented lawyer who is always good to work with” and “effective before planning and zoning boards, securing permits and tax incentives for his developer client base.”

Gary has written extensively on redevelopment, tax abatement, tax increment financing and related development incentives. He is a former member of the firm’s Partner Board and he also previously served as Co-chair of the Real Estate & Development Department.
