David advises new and existing companies on contract, corporate, finance, environmental and regulatory issues. He assists with debt and equity financing, mergers and acquisitions, negotiating commercial contracts, applying for environmental and other regulatory and land use permits, and general corporate issues. David has 25 years’ experience in agriculture banking, business, government and law, including senior executive experience with private industry and government agencies.
Many of his clients are involved in renewable energy, including biofuels, biomass and wind energy, as well as other agriculture-related industries, including food processing, feed and seed producers and meat processors. David has counseled several ethanol and biodiesel producers on debt and equity funding, negotiation of construction, grain origination, ethanol marketing and tolling agreements, and other commercial contracts, obtaining environmental permits and responding to regulatory requests. David also advises agriculture-related companies on bankruptcy and credit restructuring issues.
