For Husch Blackwell Sanders, civic leadership means caring about our communities and about the needs of others. Each year our firm contributes to organizations and groups based mostly upon the interests of our partners, associates and staff, who invest volunteer hours and serve on boards and committees for numerous charities, foundations and charitable events. Annually our charitable support helps more than 300 organizations and foundations located in our communities.
Our firm has made multi-year financial commitments to Legal Services for Eastern District of Missouri, Legal Aid of Western Missouri, Legal Services of Southern Missouri, Legal Aid of East Tennessee, Prairie State Legal Services and Legal Services of Nebraska. We set records with our firm commitments to the local United Way organizations. We are among the largest supporters of the arts and culture in our communities by giving to organizations such as the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, The St. Louis Art Museum, Kansas City Public Library Foundation, Omaha Opera, and children’s programming for KCPT Public Television.
Community support requires important charitable decisions. That is why our firm provides unwavering support to organizations that make times a little easier and more enjoyable for those faced with life challenges.
Beyond our monetary support, our firm is a leader among law firms for our Pro Bono commitment to provide legal services to those unable to pay for legal representatives. See “Pro Bono”.
