Client Success

Situation

Our client, one of the leading plastic container manufacturers in the U.S., decided to build a 335,000-square-foot manufacturing plant in metro St. Louis. The construction was part of the client’s ongoing strategy to build plants close to its customers and lower operating costs. The client reached out to our Corporate Real Estate team for help in structuring the transaction to meet accounting needs, allocate risk between the developer and the client, and pursue economic incentives.

Result

We helped our client access more than $9 million in economic incentives for the new plant, which will result in 120 new manufacturing jobs in the region. As the lead project in the development, the plant will be a catalyst for additional economic development in the area.
