Airport Terminal Recieves a Makeover

Situation

The Denver International Airport needed funding to move security checkpoints, consolidate airline ticket and baggage drop-off counters, and redesign the retail areas in the sprawling 1.5 million-square-food Jeppensen terminal.

Result

Under a P3 arrangement, the airport and the contractor share project costs and revenue. Members of the consortium, including an equity partner and design-build partner, chose Husch Blackwell to provide legal counsel during the pre-development and development phases of the project.
