Kevin P. Savory Joins Omaha Office
Kevin P. Savory joined Husch Blackwell’s Banking & Finance group as an Associate in the Omaha, Neb., office. Savory acquired three years’ experience in the financial industry prior to law school and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Initially upon graduating from law school in May, Savory completed a short-term accounting project for Omaha-based sports safety equipment company Battle Sports Science, where he devised internal controls and accounting policies for the company.
Savory received his J.D., along with a Business Law Certificate, from Creighton University School of Law (2012). During law school, he was named an “Outstanding Oralist” in the 2010 Moot Court Tournament and interned with Legal Aid of Nebraska in 2011. Before entering law school, Savory worked in Denver for “Big Four” accounting firm Deloitte & Touche as lead Auditor In-Charge for numerous publicly traded and large private clients alike. Savory received his B.S.B.A., cum laude, in Accounting from Creighton University (2006).
Husch Blackwell's Banking & Finance practice focuses on the lending and regulatory activities of regional and national commercial lenders, retail banks, life insurance companies, CMBS conduit lenders, credit unions, savings associations and other financial institutions. Attorneys represent both commercial lenders and borrowers and understand the requirements and approaches of both secured and credit debt financing. The practice also focuses on the regulatory compliance of financial institutions.
