Cassie has successfully represented clients in jury trials in state and federal court in Missouri and Illinois, with experience as a first chair and as a member of a larger trial team.
Concentrating her practice in the areas of business and commercial litigation and healthcare industry litigation, Cassie represents clients of all sizes, including Fortune 500 companies. She is involved in cases from the initial pleadings to negotiations and strategy and through trial and handles all levels of discovery, including e-discovery.
Cassie's general litigation practice includes breach of contract disputes and consumer fraud cases. In healthcare, she deals with a full range of commercial litigation clients, such as hospitals and health systems, pharmacy benefit managers, long-term care facilities, mail order pharmacies and medical device manufacturers. In medical malpractice, she represents hospitals and doctors in catastrophic injury cases.
As part of her regulatory practice, Cassie advises clients in the pharmaceutical industry on regulatory matters, and she regularly communicates with various state boards of pharmacy and the Food and Drug Administration to ensure that clients are in compliance and are maintaining appropriate licensure within the various states they distribute their products.
Cassie has also handled numerous pro bono matters for organizations in the St. Louis area.
