Carrie handles business litigation with an emphasis in commercial lending and real estate disputes.
Carrie has a multistate commercial lending litigation practice. She has handled dozens of litigation, arbitration and loan work outs representing lenders in the enforcement of commercial loan and security agreements, including notes, guaranties, and deeds of trust. In her real estate litigation practice, Carrie has first-chaired trials in the areas of condemnation, broker disputes and taxpayer challenge litigation to economic development projects. She also has appeared before municipal bodies and zoning boards on a variety of zoning matters and pursued litigation when necessary to obtain judicial rulings against municipalities on behalf of her developer clients.
Carrie also consults with clients on all issues relating to commercial leases, title insurance disputes, development issues, adverse possession, quiet title actions, and boundary disputes.
