Husch Blackwell Attorney Michael Fielding discusses how to properly deal with debt-related issues in today's economy. Fielding addresses practical steps that small businesses may take to protect their receivables prior to bankruptcy as well as additional actions that must be taken following a bankruptcy filing. Additionally, he details protective measures that a company can take when it suddenly finds itself facing its own unexpected financial challenges. Fielding is Board Certified in Business Bankruptcy by the American Board of Certification* and is one of a small group of attorneys licensed in Kansas and Missouri who hold that designation.

*The American Board of Certification’s Business Bankruptcy certification program is accredited by the American Bar Association. Neither the Supreme Court of Missouri nor the Missouri Bar reviews or approves certifying organizations or special designations.
