Brad is the chair of the Labor & Employment department. His practice is roughly divided between the areas of substantive labor law, employment discrimination defense and OSHA counseling/defense. In the labor area, Brad helps clients design union avoidance strategies and defends employers against unfair labor practice charges filed with the National Labor Relations Board. His employment discrimination defense practice has typically focused on the hospitality, manufacturing, dairy and industrial sectors. With a national OSHA practice, Brad has defended companies in 16 OSHA investigations involving fatalities.
Brad joined the firm as Associate in 1980 and was named Partner in 1986. He left the firm to serve as General Counsel and Secretary for Mississippi Lime Company for a short time in 1992.
