Robert’s major areas of client representation are tax and estate planning, tax controversies and general business. Before joining the firm, he was in private law practice in Kansas City, Mo.
From 1968 to 1972, Robert was with the Internal Revenue Service as an attorney with the Office of Chief Counsel in St. Louis and Jacksonville, Fla., where he conducted income and estate tax litigation in the U.S. Tax Court. He also was an estate tax examiner with the St. Louis office of the Internal Revenue Service.
