Bert joined the firm’s corporate practice in 2010 and currently engages in a variety of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, business formation, general corporate governance, securities issues, and other business transactions. He has experience in drafting and reviewing transactional agreements as well as commercial contracts. Bert has assisted in compliance with federal and state securities laws and in review of Securities Exchange Act filings.
Before entering the practice of law, Bert worked in public accounting, assisting with financial audits and consulting with clients on Sarbanes-Oxley Act implementation and compliance.
