Allan is a senior trial attorney who obtained numerous defense verdicts, summary judgments and dismissals for clients in federal and state courts in a variety of complex cases. He uses his experience to evaluate options and help resolve disputes to further client objectives, often without the cost and delay of protracted litigation.
Allan has represented public and private educational institutions for more than 30 years. He has handled a wide array of litigation, including employees’ discrimination suits, constitutional claims, breach of contract cases, physical and sexual assault cases and Sunshine Law litigation. Allan has counseled governing boards, conducted investigations and administrative hearings, negotiated and drafted contracts and developed board policies.
In addition, Allan represents and counsels national religious denominations. He successfully defended a lawsuit involving sexual assault of a minor. He also handles litigation involving disputes between local churches and their national denomination.
