Husch Blackwell welcomes Alisha L. Huls as Of Counsel in the firm’s St. Louis office where she joins the firm’s Intellectual Property group.
Huls comes from Brown Shoe Company, where she was Associate General Counsel (2010-2012) and maintained the company’s intellectual property portfolio. Prior to Brown Shoe, Huls was an intellectual property Associate with Husch Blackwell Sanders, a legacy firm of Husch Blackwell (2006-2010). Upon completing law school, Huls began her career in intellectual property law at a law firm in St. Louis.
Huls received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Southern Illinois University School of Law in Carbondale, Ill., (2003), where she was the production editor of SIU Law Journal and the associate editor of Legal Medicine Perspectives. She received her B.A., cum laude, from Southern Illinois University (2000).
